Humminbird APEX
Humminbird APEX Series features a Full HD display, MEGA Imaging+ sonar, and LakeMaster® VX maps, combined with some of the most extensive online capabilities on the market. The device also works with Navionics maps in Finland and includes the AutoChart Live feature for creating your own maps. Just choose the screen size—all other features come standard.
Humminbird APEX Series represents a new generation of multifunction displays that offer the market’s most accurate MEGA Imaging+ image and the sharpest Full HD display. The series is designed for professionals and demanding anglers who need maximum resolution, performance, and connectivity. APEX models are available in three sizes—13.3", 15.6", and 18.5"—and all utilize the same powerful operating system, mapping and sonar technology, and the most extensive networking capabilities.
Full HD display and Cross Touch®
The APEX series’ 1920 × 1080 Full HD displays deliver exceptionally sharp images across all sizes. Cross Touch® enables control via both touch and keyboard—the user can choose the method best suited to the situation.
Differences in Display Sizes
APEX models differ from one another only in terms of physical size and viewing area:

LakeMaster® & CoastMaster® VX Maps
The APEX includes LakeMaster® and CoastMaster® VX maps, covering over 13,000 lakes, waterways, and coastal areas in the United States and Canada. 1-foot depth contours, shallow water highlights, and depth limits help you navigate safely and accurately.
MEGA Imaging+ and Dual Spectrum CHIRP
The APEX series includes the following as standard:
- MEGA Side Imaging+
- MEGA Down Imaging+
- Dual Spectrum CHIRP
MEGA Imaging+ displays structures up to 250 ft deep and to the sides, while Dual Spectrum CHIRP offers excellent target separation and fish visibility.
Dual Channel CHIRP Sonar
APEX includes two sonar channels:
- a standard port for Humminbird transducers
- a dedicated 2D CHIRP channel for up to 2 kW Airmar transducers
This delivers professional-level performance for deep-water fishing.
AutoChart Live
Create real-time maps of depth contours, bottom hardness, and vegetation. Includes 8-hour recording, expandable with Zero Line SD cards.
One-Boat Network®
APEX integrates seamlessly with:
- Minn Kota® bow trolling motors
- Cannon® Optimum™ downriggers
- Humminbird sonars
