Mercury F60 ELPT EFI CT
The Mercury F60 ELPT EFI CT is a 60 hp four-stroke engine featuring Command Thrust transmission and a larger propeller for improved thrust in heavier boats. EFI fuel injection, quiet operation, and electric trim make the engine easy to use and reliable. A 25" shaft and a 2.33:1 gear ratio improve handling and performance under load.
The Mercury F60 ELPT EFI CT is a 60-horsepower four-stroke outboard engine designed specifically for heavier boats, loads, and situations that require greater thrust than usual. The CT model’s Command Thrust transmission uses a larger propeller and a 2.33:1 gear ratio, which improves acceleration, maneuverability, and buoyancy, especially at low speeds and under load. This makes the engine an excellent choice for fishing boats, workboats, and wide-hulled vessels, for example.
The engine’s basic design is the same as in the standard F60 model: a lightweight inline-4 engine, precise EFI fuel injection, and SOHC valve train ensure reliable starting, quiet operation, and smooth performance across the entire RPM range. SmartCraft compatibility enables precise monitoring of engine status and fuel consumption, and electric trim makes it easier to control the boat under various loads and conditions.
Thanks to its long 25" shaft, the CT model is suitable for higher transoms and offers better propeller grip in choppy water. The lightweight 112 kg dry weight makes the engine easy to handle and install, and thanks to Mercury’s FourStroke design, maintenance costs remain reasonable.
