The lightweight and modern V8 DOHC design, combined with the linear power delivery of precise EFI fuel injection, produces strong torque and immediate throttle response, making the engine an excellent choice for medium-sized and large boats. The large 4.6-liter V8 block handles the load effortlessly and delivers consistent performance even over long distances and in demanding conditions.

The engine’s AMS (Advanced MidSection) significantly reduces vibration and noise, and the internal damping of the engine compartment completes the quiet running sound. The result is a smooth and pleasant driving experience, which is particularly noticeable during cruising and in rough seas. The electronic DTS (Digital Throttle & Shift) system provides instantaneous and precise control without mechanical cables, making gear changes smooth and virtually silent.
