The Yamaha F250 V6 is a powerful and durable 4.2-liter DOHC V6 EFI engine featuring SBW electric steering, DBW throttle and gearshift, TotalTilt™, and a 70 A alternator. The large displacement delivers strong torque and quiet operation, and the engine is fully compatible with the Helm Master EX system.
The Yamaha F250 V6 is one of the most popular engines in the Offshore series, as it combines the massive torque of a 4.2-liter V6 engine with a lightweight design and Yamaha’s latest digital control technology. The large 4169 cm³ DOHC V6 delivers strong pulling power across the entire RPM range and offers excellent acceleration even in heavily loaded boats.
The engine supports Yamaha’s latest SBW (Steer-By-Wire) electronic steering, which provides a completely play-free and maintenance-free steering feel. DBW throttle and gearshift make operation smooth and precise, and the engine is fully compatible with the Helm Master EX system, including automatic trim, course control, and advanced maneuvering functions.
TotalTilt™ speeds up trimming and tilting with a single push of a button, and a powerful 70 A alternator (55 A charging capacity) keeps the boat’s electronics running in all conditions. PrimeStart™, TCI ignition, and Yamaha’s quiet exhaust system ensure reliable starting and a pleasant sound.
Variable trolling speed control allows for fine-tuning the speed in 50 rpm increments, making the F250 V6 an excellent choice for fishing as well. The Offshore series’ durability, corrosion protection, and reliability make this engine a long-lasting partner for demanding conditions.
