The Suzuki DF200AP is a powerful and modern 200 horsepower four-stroke outboard engine designed for medium to large boats for demanding use. The engine is based on Suzuki’s lightweight DOHC four-cylinder engine block with 16-valve technology and Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI). The Lean Burn control system optimizes fuel delivery according to load and rpm, which improves economy, especially at cruising speeds and long transitions.
The DF200AP model features Selective Rotation, which allows the same engine to be programmed to rotate either on the right or left propeller. This simplifies twin engine installations and reduces the need for spare parts. The engine also supports Suzuki’s Precision Control system (model-specific), which provides precise and lag-free electronic throttle and gear control, which improves control, especially during harbor maneuvers and precise driving.
